Bea heads up the residential team bringing nearly 20 years’ experience leading multidisciplinary teams covering a broad range of project types and budgets. She is currently overseeing a range of projects from housing-led mixed-use schemes for both private developers and local authorities, to commercial and civic projects such as Bank OSD and the design and fit-out of the prestigious British Embassy in Paris.
Beatrix Young has joined WW+P as Associate Partner in the studio’s expanding, award-winning residential team headed up by Philip Breese. Formerly in a senior role at Farrells, Beatrix brings over 15 years’ experience of design management, design processes and running a team across multiple, mainly residential and mixed-use projects.
Alongside this, she has lead multidisciplinary teams and will play a valuable bridging role between urban design and architecture in the practice, working closely with WW+P Head of Masterplanning Simon Catton.
The team’s current clients include the London Boroughs of Southwark and Hackney, Transport for London, Network Rail and Greystar Europe.
Says Philip Breese: “Beatrix brings valuable additional experience and insight to our studio at a time when transport infrastructure and housing are really starting to pull in the same direction.”
Beatrix is also a member of the Merton Borough Council and London Borough of Wandsworth Design Review Panels.
