The design brief stated the stations must be simple, elegant and of the highest quality design using robust functional materials to improve the quality of a traveling experience. They exhibit anti-vandal finishes, better lighting, a good level of visibility and CCTV coverage for added security. London City Airport station provides an enclosed glass roof to allow natural lighting of the central platform. |
