Gas Quay, The Hythe, Colchester


A striking development of 36 apartments located on the river Colne in Colchester. It is part of the wider regeneration of the original port area, which forms a key component of the Colne Harbour regeneration master plan.		   The former Quay, offers excellent river frontage and views. The proposal comprises 36 apartments over six floors and duplexes. The North façade, provides river access and moorings for the ground floor units and spectacular river views for the apartments above which also benefit from extensive external balcony spaces.   The project also includes the development of extensive river edge landscaping, public enhancements, and smaller structures such as the café pavilion space which steps out into the river and forms one of a series of interventions and structures along the river edge.
