Weston Williamson was appointed following a successful presentation where they demonstrated various options for adding to the building over several years.		   We have often found that it is architects who go beyond the client's original brief that are most successful. The careful consideration gets the client more involved, produces more interesting solutions and installs trust, confidence and a team mentality.   In the event, the client decided to implement the design, including the addition of a new reception and two glazed conference rooms on the existing flat roof. The design will be energy-efficient and naturally ventilated. The construction will use recyclable materials and traditional construction technologies and local products.
