Monoghan County Offices, Ireland


Our design concept provides 1,800sq m of office space for Monaghan Civic Offices and is the result of a careful study of the brief requirements. A large central atrium space forms the heart of the design and effectively breaks down barriers between the public and the staff.		   This flexible space leads directly to the civic section and incorporates the restaurant and café and training areas. The council chamber is a sculptural element within the atrium space, creating drama and excitement for visitors and staff.   Office space is wrapped around the atrium giving visual contact between staff and the public. The office space is arranged in two wings offering great flexibility of internal layout with open plan and cellular space as required.
