The design of the Bjergstad Music Park and the Blue Promenade evolved from a thorough study of the site, the brief, and a desire to produce a stunning, high quality, design which will fit into the contours of the site.		   The intention is that it integrates with the 'green lung' of Bjergstad by adding to both the quantity and quality of the green space of the city. The beautiful, high quality, landscaped terrace hides the car park and sits over the top of the restaurant/cafe/bar area.   The two auditoriums are expressed as individual entities and create a dialogue across the man made Fjord between them. The seating in the concert hall and multi-purpose theatre is on 3 levels to minimise the distance from the performer to the rearmost seats.
