Infrastructure

Enabling cities for their inhabitants

As our cities grow and more of the population moves into them we need infrastructure that can keep pace, delivering the fundamental systems and facilities that maintain our cities. We are passionate about creating civilised cities that are people focused connected by high quality infrastructure.

We work on all types of infrastructure - from major city wide tunnel schemes and bridges to smaller local projects including road improvements and green infrastructure schemes. As architect for the eastern sites on the Thames Tideway tunnel, we are involved in delivering a major infrastructure scheme that will enable London’s sewerage system to meet the needs of the city for years to come.

We celebrate infrastructure, using it as a way to create places for people to enjoy. We have a strong tradition of working with engineers and artists to invigorate our urban fabric, moving it beyond the purely functional to places that enrich people’s lives.

The use of green infrastructure is increasingly important; our approach is founded on the belief that we need to do more with less, embracing invention and multi-disciplinary collaboration to achieve greater value and flexibility from our infrastructure. We embrace change to help us deliver the cities of tomorrow.
