Exhibition Line, our shortlisted entry for the Future Park Design Ideas Competition is on display at the Dulux Gallery, University of Melbourne until Friday November 1.
The international competition, presented by the University of Melbourne in partnership with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects challenged professional and emerging landscape architects, urban designers, architects and planners to generate ideas on new park possibilities for a future Melbourne.
Exhibition Line looks to emerging technologies and a denser Melbourne of the future to imagine a park that integrates transport technology, diverse lifestyles, and creative public spaces. Exhibition Line expresses our vision for a civilised city, with the removal of cars and the addition of public transport. The urban realm along Exhibition Street is activated, generating a linear green link running through the city, connecting Carlton Gardens to the Yarra River.
All the shortlisted entries are on display at the Dulux Gallery at the Melbourne School of Design until the end of the month.
