WW+P continue to support Southwark’s aims of delivering 11,000 new homes by 2043

Since 2016 we have been supporting Southwark Council in the delivery of their New Homes programme. Working across the borough we are designing and delivering high quality homes at every size and scale, supporting Southwark’s Fairer Future initiative.

We have worked closely with the council and local residents to develop schemes that exceed their ambitions and sustainability targets and create places to call home and belong. To date we have secured planning consent for 173 new homes across 6 sites, and have a further 187 homes and a community centre in design development.

The first of our homes have now started on-site. Continuing our design role, we are supporting Durkan at Commercial Way providing 109 affordable and shared ownership homes on the North Peckham Estate, and Guildmore at Rutley Close in Kennington providing 23 affordable homes. As a practice we aim to see our projects through to completion- our involvement at all stages helps us to ensure the conceptual design is developed and constructed to the highest possible quality.

You can learn more about our recent history of providing new homes in the borough below.

Project Lead and Associate Partner, Euan Durstan has said “The progress of our work through planning and onto construction is testament to the hard work of the WW+P residential team and the strong relationships we have built with local residents, community groups and Southwark Council.”
