Rob guides the strategic direction of the practice and works closely with clients on the formative stages of projects.
He has been responsible for the conceptual design and delivery of four Crossrail projects, including the £500 million Paddington station, and was architectural project director on our winning Melbourne Metro bid, the practice's largest commission to date including five new city centre stations.
Since completing a Masters in Interdisciplinary Design at Cambridge University, Rob has focused on transport and urban design work. He has lead a series of high profile, award winning infrastructure projects with multiple interfaces, guiding them through complex engineering and political issues, managing stakeholders and delivering design quality that gains broad support. His master planning projects demonstrate how a coordinated interdisciplinary approach can maximise the commercial and urban potential of infrastructure investment.
Rob was instrumental in exporting our infrastructure and city shaping experience to Australia, subsequently establishing our studios in Sydney and Melbourne. Alongside his UK credentials, he is an AACA registered architect in Australia and continues to lead projects on both sides of the world.
In 2015 Rob was awarded RIBA London Project Architect of the Year for his work at Paddington.
